You may be surprised when I thank you for bringing my site to the lowest Technorati Rank.

Yes, Right now, wpthemes.info has reached the rank ‘0′ at Technorati.

This site is one of the most linked websites in the world and thats what is depicted by the lowest number for the technorati rank.

It happened because of all of you people, who use one of my themes [mostly my MistyLook] with a link back to this site!

So, If I am happy for this, it is all because of YOU !

Congrats Sadish! If only free wordpress theme blogs were allowed on the Technorati Popular 100 list hahaha.

Thanks SP, and technorati does some work manually to sort the sites like this to be away from the top 100. I believe they are right.

Yea, their list is selective, not definitive; I know. I’m merely complaining because I think they should have an alternate list with the actual rankings. It would be interesting to see what other blogs make it on that list :).

Congratulations Sadish,

You’ve done a brilliant job with MistyLook and I’ve made it my preferred theme for my photography site that’s Wordpress hosted (but only because I haven’t yet figured out how to host it myself). For now, I’ve customised it to the way I really want and things are going well as far as readership goes.

Congrats. I had actually been hunting around for a theme then found your ShadedGrey theme. I’ve since modified it and since it was an older version added in the widget support although I don’t use it myself. I am aware that the current version of the theme does have support for widgets already… I also made it XHTML 1.0 Traditional compliant by taking out extra tags and modifying the sg_get_recent_posts and sg_get_recent_comments functions. Now the Recent Posts and Recent Comments areas only generate a ul tag region when there are actually entries to put there otherwise it just outputs a linebreak (xhtml compliant version of it). There was an xhtml non-compliance error being generated when a ul tag was there and no li tags…

To the author: if you want the new code then email me and I will send it to you. The code is otherwise functionally equivalent and I as only changing it so that the site would validate.

I think I did fix the issues you mentioned in my latest version. please try the latest version on a different install and see if it looks fine.

Yes. The current version does validate on a clean install. However when you have no comments, pages, or posts then it doesn’t as the validator complains about the fact there are no li tags within the ul tags. I actually fell back to the version I had already modified a bit since I did a few other changes too.

I’m also glad of the chance to thank you, Sadish. It’s a beautiful and functional theme. Functional in the sense that it allows the blog content, in my case simply words, a space to be itself in, air to breathe, while setting an initial tone that is ever so gently . . . sublime. Honestly, it’s brilliant mate, and I’m delighted to be able to use it.
