Good news, everyone! As you surely know, we constantly try to make our WordPress themes even better then they are now. This time we’re proud to present you some new great changes in them that will bring along an even better using experience!

Let’s have a look at what changes have been made:

1. Added WordPress 3.3.2 compatibility.

2. A number of layout bugs in themes fixed.

3. All links to third-party resources removed from the theme footers: now, no matter what theme you are using, you can rest assured you are not linking an unknown or undesired resource.

WordPress Themes update notification!

Dear friends!
We’ve updated our catalog of WordPress themes (including the all-time favorites like Misty Look, Desire and iLoveMusic) to make sure that their presentation is consistent and that they don’t contain any excessive links in them. As a result, we have decided to remove all links to third-party websites from the footers of individual theme templates – this is done to ensure that whichever theme you decide to use, you may rest assured that you don’t link to, or even mention, any unknown or undesired resources.

The themes also look much cleaner without those additional links in their footers. We hope you’ll enjoy using them as much as we do!

Most Popular WordPress Theme

MistyLook is the most popular WordPress Theme that I ever created. This theme has been installed on hundreds of thousands of websites.
It has been holding up the top position on the most popular themes at wordpress.com. If you have a wordpress.com account, you can go to Appearance > Themes > and click on Popular and you would see MistyLook at the top.

New Features for the upcoming release

Wider than before
The previous version of MistyLook was developed mainly for people using 800×600 resolution. Now that most of the users have bigger monitors, I have made the theme to use more screen estate, now at 980px wide.

Support for changing the site’s background with WordPress 3.0
WordPress 3.0 now provides an option to customize the site’s background right within the Appearance tab.
MistyLook 3.8 beta supports this feature.

Support for custom menus in WordPress 3.0
Another cool thing that WordPress 3.0 supports is to have a custom user defined menu for the top navigation. The user can choose any of their pages / posts / categories or even external links for their menu.
I am still working on getting this integrated with the MistyLook Theme.

Question For you

There are so many occasions, people have requested me about how to hide the “search box” from the top menu, because it was overlapping one of the items in their top navigation.
I am trying to decide if I can remove it from the top menu all together. Please let me know your thought on that by clicking on the poll below.

New Czech Translation of MistyLook now added

GreenFlower Theme updated

There was a recent request in the support forums, to add the custom image header feature to the GreenFlower theme.
I added that feature to the GreenFlower theme and am releasing it to all of you now.

I also added support for “threaded comments” and “floating images within the post“.

iLoveMusic 1.1

Recently one of my visitors asked some support for this theme “iLoveMusic“. It was not updated at all since its initial release.

I thought I could take this theme and fix a couple of issues, add the “custom image header” option, and add support for “Tags” when used with WordPress 2.3.
Well I did exactly that and am releasing it today !

FastTrack 3.1 – supports Tags in WordPress 2.3

I did some rework on our FastTrack theme, to upgrade it to version 3.1.
The main changes include,
1. Added Support for Tags when used with WordPress 2.3
2. Added page templates for Archive, Contact and Link Pages.
3. Made some slight improvements to the style.
