   And could you pl tell me how to convert it into 3-column layout in case I want one.

   Unfortunately, Its not as easy to do a 3 column ShadedGrey, as you might want to believe.

   It may need some more time for me to finish one with a 3 column, and meanwhile you can see this link and try to implement it.
