on September 24th, 2007MistyLook 3.5 for WordPress 2.3 and below
![]()
As I added support for WordPress 2.3 in the latest version of MistyLook [3.5], I added the function “the_tags()” in index.php and in single.php, without checking for its existence.
This has caused the theme to break for earlier versions of WordPress.
I did fix it now, and the fixed version is available now.
Enjoy!

I just installed MistyLook 3.5 and it looks ok except for the Tagline under the blog name. This is now huge and bold and overpowering. Before it was small and ok.
I haven’t yet done my upgrade to Wordpress 2.3. If this goes away with 2.3 please ignore, otherwise … fyi
Cheers

Eats,
It looks bigger because you changed the theme’s header.php to use “h2″ instead of “p” for the tagline.
Sadish

hi Sadish,
I’ve been using and enjoying MistyLook for some time, on my two blogs. I’ve noticed some glitches, though, which I hope you won’t mind me pointing out.
– The different headings in the widgets sometimes appear to run into each other; is there a way of better distinguishing – probably bullets – where each begins and ends?
– If I try to float a pic left, very often the post text will overlap the right side of the pic.
Lastly, typographers generally agree that serif fonts are easier to read. Is it possible to release a MistyLookSerif, perhaps Georgia? Or to make this adjustable in the Presentation part of the Dashboard?
thanks again for all your hard work.
I like all the extras packed into this theme. Very nice!
